Terms
1. Scope of Services
Stanley Services will perform landscaping work as detailed in your estimate or service agreement. Services may include lawn care, planting, mulching, seasonal cleanups, and general property maintenance. Any changes to the agreed scope will be discussed and approved prior to implementation.
2. Estimates and Pricing
All estimates are valid for 30 days. While we strive to maintain quoted pricing, unforeseen site conditions or client-requested changes may result in adjusted costs. You’ll always be notified and consulted before any additional charges are applied.
3. Scheduling and Access
We make every effort to complete services on time and as scheduled. Please note that service dates may shift due to weather or workload. Clients will be informed of any changes as early as possible.
We kindly ask that you ensure unobstructed, safe access to the property during scheduled visits. If access is restricted, a trip charge may apply, and service may need to be rescheduled.
4. Payments and Invoicing
Payment is due upon completion unless otherwise specified in a written agreement. Ongoing services will be invoiced on a recurring schedule, with payment due within 15 days of the invoice date. A 5% late fee may be applied to overdue balances. We accept [list payment methods, e.g., cash, check, Venmo, etc.].
5. Cancellations and Rescheduling
We understand that schedules change. To avoid a cancellation fee, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule your service. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a $50 fee to cover time and travel.
6. Property Responsibility
Clients are responsible for marking any underground systems or hidden fixtures (e.g., irrigation lines, electrical cables, septic components). Stanley Services cannot be held liable for unmarked underground damage. We take great care in our work and treat your property with respect.
7. Workmanship Guarantee
We stand behind the quality of our work. If you have concerns, please contact us within 7 days of service. We’ll do everything reasonably possible to address the issue. Please note that plant material warranties are not included unless specifically stated in writing.
8. Insurance and Liability
Stanley Services is fully insured. We are not responsible for damage resulting from extreme weather, acts of nature, or conditions beyond our control. Any concerns about potential risk areas should be communicated before service begins.
9. Ongoing Services and Termination
You may discontinue ongoing or recurring services at any time with written notice. We ask that any outstanding invoices be paid in full at the time of termination. Similarly, Stanley Services reserves the right to discontinue service due to non-payment or ongoing access/safety concerns.
10. Use of Photos
From time to time, we may take photos of completed projects for our portfolio or promotional materials. If you prefer we do not use images of your property, please let us know in writing.
11. Governing Law
All services provided by Stanley Services are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina. Any disputes will be resolved accordingly.
